I can't see why people are so hung up on rim dents and nicks.
I appreciate that a coin without them is more appealing and worth more, I suspect that 19th century people were more prone to dropping coins and testing 'the ring' than we are today.
19th century large silver without rim damage is rare.
Overall a very nice specimen, I'd say. I'd like to call it at the lower end of XF based on some high point flattening of the devices, but I don't know if from a technical standpoint that rolled rim at the top of the reverse would drop it to high VF or be taken into account via a "details" annotation. The other thing is that even though the photos are excellent, it's still hard to tell if those mostly toned surfaces are original or were at some time in the past wiped (polished), which in the latter case, would obviously warrant a "details" qualified grade.
