GR58 Bedrock of the Community United States 11951 Posts	Posted 12/12/2017 4:50 pm Three mints made Lincoln cents in 1983 Philadelphia- no mint mark Denver - D mint mark San Francisco - S mint mark, proof issue MS means Mint State. That refers to a coin that has no circulation wear. MS grades go from MS 60 through MS 70. Other than that .... we really need the question to be more specific. Report this Post to the Staff
