Can you please help me properly identify and understand the difference in these (Doubling examples). I know most will be mechanical but all are a little different and want to learn from your knowledge. Thank you

First example: 1950 S (O on GOD)

Second example: 1958

#1 is damage,#2 is MD, difference is MD Usually affects associated devices. #3 is Die Deterioration, read what I wrote here:

With all of the above! What Crazyb0 has written has helped me immensely and I'm sure it has help others as well to have a better and more knowledgable understanding of how doubling occurs and how to tell the difference between the different types.

That 55 Poorman's makes a good hole filler in a Whitman folder/album for that pesky doubled die made of unobtanium!
