Listing is still active.
The Seller also has a slabbed 12-S V nick for sale. Makes you wonder why would he not slab the 55/55.

Jdrmcb, the message you sent was well written and should have gotten results. Don't start getting ulcers over ignorant people!

I don't, the only thing that bothers me is the fact that some newb is about to spent his/her hard earned money on something he/she thinks is a genuine variety coin. But I guess some people have to learn from their mistakes...

As a newbie, seeing this listed would make me think, and why isn't it graded? This particular coin is worth a lot if it's that heavily doubled (if I've done my research correctly.)

One of the fairly dangerous Chinese fakes. Just close enough to fool a lot of inexperienced collectors.

Correct, when it comes to coins such as this that have thousands of known fake copy's saturating the market (most are quite obvious but some are almost dead ringers), it's always best to purchase a graded example that has been encapsulated by one of the top tier TPG companies (PCGS,NGC, or ANACS).

That's what I always ask myself too! if the coin's value is in the thousands it's worth having it authenticated before selling it. The seller either knows it's a fake or they can't afford to send it in to be graded. Someone might be in a deep hole soon
