I still don't mind waiting a day for free, but .25 isn't a bad deal if you need the money in your bank now. Anybody else see this?

I saw this. I like the option even though I generally would not use it.
My bank does this when I take a picture of deposits. They charge 50 cents if you don't want to wait for the standard check to clear time. I haven't used it yet, but it is nice to know it is there.

First I've heard about it, thanks.

Would be nicer if it was just instant as it really should be in this day and age, but it is nice that they have finally added the option.

Paypal can't contol how fast it shows up in your bank. Some banks will not be instant even if you pay the fee.

An interesting offer but it's only a couple days for a normal transfer. I suppose if I needed cash fast it might be an option.

If I needed cash that fast, I'd have a Paypal debit card. Charging me a fee to move my money around, when it's all electronic and instantaneous if you program it that way? I don't think so. Of course, I get Paypal transfers to bank overnight, so I can afford to take the high road.

I agree, if they can do it, why charge. Might try it once sometime, just to see how "instant" it really is. Btw, have you ever tried to transfer money from your bank to your paypal account....it takes about 3 days, at least it did for me last month. The money disappeared from my bank account, but didn't appear right away in my paypal account. So I called paypal and they said it was "processing."

Save a quarter and just plan ahead three days.

For some reason, when you say it like that, it sounds like spending the quarter would be better.

I tried it and it works really cool even with my small community bank. But consider, they only offer this service for private accounts. I also do have a business account with Paypal and there is no option for that.

This may or may not be related. How about depositing/transferring from your back into PayPal account? There seems to be a very long waiting period (4 or 5 days), that the funds are pending. It's probably a scam PayPal is playing with their customer. I would think that money should/would be immediately accessible after an electronic transfer. PayPal is holding the (your) money and making interest on it!
