I was the only bidder for this coin and won it for $4.99 with shipping. It is solid silver 27mm and 13.70g. It is very convex on the obverse and very worn. The reverse is protected because it is concave and in good shape. It reminds me on a Celtic imitation coin but am not able to identify it.Is this identified correctly in the listing. Thanks Josephhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/Samothrace...p=true&rt=nc

I don't know a hole lot about these. This is the normal appearance for the obverse. You got an outstanding deal on it. Congrats.

No clue what the listing title means; these are Celtic tetradrachms, from uncertain tribes near the Danbue and imitating Philip III of Macedon. They are common, but not cheap; generally $80-150. If it's real, you got the deal of the century!

I posted one about two weeks back:

The coin is much better than the pictures .I thought the coin was silver but didn't know it was so heavy until I received it. Seems like this was a true estate liquidation. I guess everybody get lucky once in a while.
