I agree - those large devices are impressive looking.

That's pretty large for a counterstamp!

It really is. Besides the Paul Revere one I think it's one of the largest I've seen.

This is one of the first counter stamps I had posted on this thread. This particular example is very well stamped so I think the details are more discernable. It is a representation of Paul Revere riding through the countryside..."The British are coming! The British are coming!"

Bitcoin - interesting!

Well you did it chafemasterj.

I ordered two counterstamp punches yesterday!

One is purely functional...

I recently was given, by a dealer friend, a load of fake Morgans and ASEs. So I ordered a "COPY" counterstamp so I can proceed with something I have always wanted to do: make a silver dollar tabletop like the silver dollar bars that can be found out West. I have seen the one at Wall Drug a couple of times and liked it.

But since real dollars are cost prohibitive to do this with, I got a load of fakes for free, and I have a friend who pours resin tabletops, I needed the stamp so the unmarked fakes cannot ever be mistaken by whoever will get the tabletop after I am gone.

At least its a good way to use the fakes! Not sure if I will make a combined ASE and Morgan or not yet.

The other counterstamp...well...its not CFF. And I won't be able to use it on cents.
More to come when I have it!
