Quote:This 1907 repousse IHC is really unique. Not really sure what it's a stamp of. My best guess is a leprechaun because of the nose and the fact it is holed to be worn as a lucky pendant perhaps? Very intreresting. Quote: A super shout out and thank you to Alpha33. I just received some counter stamped LMCs in the mail that I will be sharing soon. Once I can find a resource telling me what the symbols mean. Thanks again! Excellent!

Heya Ondiwave. Sorry I've been MIA. The rabbit counter stamp you discovered was originally glued to a Happy Easter business card put out by the SOS Enterprise Company. Here is an example. There are three slightly different ones that I know of.

As I had mentioned before huge shout out to Alpha33 for these really cool counter stamps. Here is a quote from an email exchange we had: Quote: They are also all stamped from original "US" military ordnances escutcheons and acceptance stamps. I am assuming that they are from a map key showing what's where in a combat situation but I couldn't find anything to back that opinion up. Any help in that regard would be fantastic. Thank you. I think the rest of those Alpha33 sent me were duplicates in some way. Except this one. Semper Fi fellow Teufel Hundens!
