If you are referring to the black lines, those are roller lines not a woody.

Maybe this will help. I'm almost 100% certain that this is a doubled die. Especially when looking at the ear and ear lobe. It's hard to see in these pictures but in person it's pretty obvious. Sorry if the pics make anyone strain there eyes but it's the best I can do with my phone. I'll post a pic of what I mentioned about the ear and ear lobe and thanks to everyone that's chiming in with their thoughts.
