Look at the jagged edges of this missing piece of the obverse...lamination issue?

Try some acetone. May just be a coca cola stain.

I agree with @crazyb0 that this looks more like a stain than a cracked planchet or lamination. Please post pics when you have given a bath in acetone so that we can see if that helped!
