I'm not sure whether the wheatie is a clipped panchet or just a bored kid at work with a file. First one isn't an error, just damage, the second may be a "straight clip", meaning blank was cut from the end of stock plate. I am not sure of #2 tho, because of the wear, no Blakesley effect is seen and the amount of rim showing on reverse shows edge being smashed flat perhaps. #1  #2    Edited by Crazyb0

I'm not sure about the first coin ,since all the damage appears to be raised above the fields. I would like to have some closer pics of this first coin.

First coin is just PMD and the second might be a Straight End Clip. If you can get pictures on the side of were the Clip is, that would be great. :) Errers and Varietys.

Both coins are obviously post mint damage. On the 2nd coin, if the straight clip were real, there would not be the arcing edge just inside of the "clip" area due to metal flow into the straight clip area. That area would be even with the field area. No Blakesley either.
