Posting the front and back of this dime. It has no reeding at all but hard to show that; most of the issues are on the front of the coin. I posted the reverse as well to show that there aren't any marks.

I really want to say PMD. It's odd, though, that the reverse looks completely normal. However, I can't think of a way in which what has happened to the obverse would be from the mint. So, PMD but needlessly intricate.

I have found a coin just like that. The theory was that it got stuck under a grocery conveyer face up. Mine was considerably underweight, I imagine that yours is as well...
Only problem with that theory is that your coin seems to have raised rims, while mine was sharp to a point. Heck, I dont know. Neat coin. Probably PMD, but curious to know how.

Possible metal lathe damaged in a machine shop. The metal filings makes me feel it is PSD.
