Hi I'm new here and this is my first post so please forgive me if I have filed it incorrectly. I have been collecting since I was a little kid and found this quarter a while ago. I have always thought something was off with it since the letters "Quarter Dollar" and mint-mark seem bolder than on other Utah Quarters I have seen. I have attached pictures, let me know what you think.

Thanks!

It looks like a well struck coin to me, I don't see any errors.

to CCF. To me it looks like a VLDS coin/DDD=Very Late Die State/Deteriorated Die Doubling. Maybe some Grease Filled Die as well.

Note the affected areas you are looking at are towards the closest rim direction? The is what tells us its is Die Deterioration as John1 mentioned. So you're coin was struck by a Senior aged die. Ready for retirement.
