Back in the 1990's, I found two of the 1984 double ear doubled dies. Haven't found one since!

That is a nice one. Looks like it could be #4 on doubledie.com. You'll have to look at the die markers

Not sure which DDO number it is, but the letters in Liberty show some nice extra thickness. I remember finding one of the Doubled ear Doubled Dies. The one I found was 1DO-001.

DDO-003. Die scratch under the ER matches. Nice find! I found one of these a while ago.

I already had it identified before I posted it. Just showing off some recent finds.

I think this is a great example to show the widening of devices on a doubled die variety, as compared to the narrowing seen on Machine Doubling examples.
