Now that I have decided to put a collection together of Peace dollars I need to get some books on them. I have the Whitman Peace dollar book which seems very good. Are there any experts out there who can recommend more?
Thanks in advance, Frank
Rest in Peace

You can get considerable knowledge both of the series and particular date/mm by searching here.

If you intend to build a better quality set checking NGC and PCGS registry sets will give you a good idea of others building such sets.

Checking Heritage sold will give you excellent price ranges and availability.

That current knowledge is generally more valuable than many books provide.

That would depend on whether or not you plan on collecting varieties. THere are several good Peace dollar VAM books out there. See my old post here on CCF; http://goccf.com/t/152565

I really like "An Analysis of Morgan and Peace dollars" by Wayne Miller, an older book, now out of print, but very well done. You can find reasonable priced copies on Amazon, Abe, Alibris, etc.

Q. David Bowers excellent 2 volume Silver dollar encyclopedia is available for free at PCGS https://www.PCGS.com/books/silver-dollars/ start with Volume II Chapter 15 for the Peace dollars.
