The design is good on this gold coin but the silver dollar is atrocious.

Another nice one Muddler!

I have both the Au and Ag commemoratives in PR69DCAM in my collection. I was always mystified about what exactly a Latina dancer has to do with the National Parks, but I wouldn't say the design is atrocious. IMHO there are worse designs on other Ag modern commemoratives.

I got the Unc $5 gold hoping the mintage would stay low, which it did but this past year the bottom fell out. This seems like it might be a trend for the gold commems.

When this coin first came out a member of my coin club brought one for show and tell.
Now I forgot if it was a proof or unc. But he was saying the mintage is very low and that it is worth a premium.

Unfortunately I opted out of this one - I think this $5 gold design was the best of the National Parks designs, as is often the case with commemoratives, it seems. I may have to search for this one on the secondary market.

Nice coin, thanks for the photos!

I have only every really wanted two gold coins from the mint. The 2013 MacArthur (5 Star Generals) and the 2014 Kennedy half dollar. Maybe one day.

And maybe muddler show us that he has both!
