This is my classic!- look close- is there such a thing as TRIPLE machine "Doubling"? (Three layers on this! )

I hope so- than I can try and get Three Cents for this instead of maybe two (LOL)!

Looks like a combination of Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling - notice how thin the numbers are.

The date doesn't look so good, but I really like the way the S mint mark came out!

I've even seen quadruple Machine Doubling.
Error coin writer and researcher.

Nice coin Chuckster,

Does this happens when the die is loose? If it were ejection doubling it should only have one shelf. Multiple shelfs would have to mean multiple slips, so it would have to be a loose die, right?
