This is not mine....yet....
I have never seen a Proof Like dime this old.
Are these common?
Would you call this "Proof Like"?

Is this the small or large "S"
What would you grade it?

Lot's of questions that I don't have answers to but I will offer a grade of ms-64.

Nicely toned.

Pull from circulation almost right from the time it was out, as there are many tiny hairline scratches, retained good luster.
The 40's were saved in abundant, so there's lots of high end proof like dimes out there.

MS-60 to 62.

Its the small S in case you're still trying to figure out.

If most of those scratches are on the coin, then I'm at 61 tops. If not, then I'll pass.
