1981-P Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Weird Mark On Shoulder And Various Issues

SF11Dude Pillar of the Community United States 746 Posts	Posted 01/08/2018 06:19 am The mark on the shoulder is an impression/gouge an there are several coins exhibiting this "flaking" of the surface in differing areas and amounts. The most likely explanation is that this is just PMD. I'm not sure about all the surface flaking on your coins. It may be something that was poured on the coins at some point in time as @coop mentioned. I assume it's a die gouge and it also looks to have caught the Y in LIBERTY too Report this Post to the Staff
