I looked at the transparent overlay and could not identify the square mark on Lincoln's shoulder.
The other issues on this coin are a mystery also.

Looks like some die gouging.

@SF11Dude, is the mark raised above the surface of the coin or incuse? Despite really good pics, I can't tell which way that mark faces.

Reverse looks like something was poured on on the surface.

The mark on the shoulder is an impression/gouge an there are several coins exhibiting this "flaking" of the surface in differing areas and amounts.
This is the most extreme example so you can see it well
Thanks.

Here is another example...on these '81-P there is usually a crack at the top right corner of the Memorial showing these colors.
Whenever there is a crack or rim separation there is this color variation and/or scaling. Weight 3.07g

Ok then this cannot be a die gouge as the opposite would then be true. The most likely explanation is that this is just PMD. I'm not sure about all the surface flaking on your coins. It may be something that was poured on the coins at some point in time as @coop mentioned.

I believe you guys are right about the die gouge.
I rolled it around at an angle and took a picture of it.
I assume it's a die gouge and it also looks to have caught the Y in LIBERTY too
