I'm trying to gauge whether a coin is worth my while. A local dealer has a 1913 in what I'd judge to be F12 which I can get for $10. What does Maccas have to say on that price? Thanks!

Thanks for those values...that was what I suspected, considering the low mintage.
I'll take another look at that 1913 with those values in mind.

G'day, in my experience, it's easier to find 1910 coins in higher grades than the early KGV silver. Even the poor grades don't come up very often. Mintages for each of the early KGV years was a lot lower than for 1910, of course.
If you find a shilling of that era, that is recognizable as such for $10, you're having a lucky day.

Thanks for all the info! It turns out it's a moot point now because it was sold.
