Some of the '96s fell apart in circulation.It didn't take too much effort to dislodge the core.I carry an outer ring, of one, on my key chain. It was finger pressed apart in '96. Queen's crown should point to 2 dollars. If rotated on verticle axis, crown points to Canada. Take a close look at the orientation of the core in relation to the ring.
