Hello, another new guy, I had a Uncle who collected coins when I was a kid. So I know a little or as they say I know enough to be dangerous. I have inherited a collection and I recently bought a collection for a very reasonable price from a coworker whos Dad had passed. I have been sorting and trying to get my hand around what I want to keep. I seem not to be interested in collecting a complete set but rather enjoy having examples of various coins. Stan

Thanks everyone. I like the Lincoln Cent with the Tennessee map stamped on it. What is a "Type set"? Thanks again.

A US Type Set is a collection of major coin types from the US: All types of cents, nickels (and Half Dimes), dimes, & etc.
