I agree but I might be biased having lived in Michigan all my life. Looking forward to picking some up when they start circulating later this year. I might also be tempted to pick up one of the 5oz silver versions and have it framed.

I thought Michigan also did a nice job with their State Quarter years ago. Simple design with the iconic outline of the state and the surrounding Great Lakes.

I think they named the series wrong. It shouldn't be called "America the Beautiful", it should be called "America: Rocks, Birds, and Sometimes Hands"
