I started collecting 5 years ago, not really knowing what I was doing, but keeping coins that were different shapes, sizes, colours and had different images than what I was used to. Recently, in the process of cleaning, I decided to sort my coins. I had to do a lot of research on a few of them, using online forums such as this and a website called Numista.com to keep track of my collection online. After a while, I was really addicted to this hobby. I've now taken up coin roll hunting, and I frantically search my change whenever I get some. Right now, I'm collecting old nickels and all pennies, as I'm trying to complete my collection of dates and styles. Report this Post to the Staff

oriole Pillar of the Community Canada 5238 Posts	Posted 01/16/2018 07:02 am Congratulations. You are a coin addict now! Get boxes of coins from your bank. It is more efficient to search them that way. Unfortunately in Canada most of the old coins have been melted via the ARP, so you should look sooner rather than later. Report this Post to the Staff
