So someone posted this for sale in my area, and I'm considering it, but wanted everyone's opinions on if real or fake. I have never dealt with a Trade dollar, so don't know what to look for. Here are the sellers pictures. Also, if you can give a grade with the quality of photos if real would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I think it is real and very attractive. The coin has a type 1 obverse and reverse. That is a valid combo for 1875 Trade dollars. The coin's features look sharply struck and have beautiful detail. I would grade it AU50 details cleaned. It looks like the coin was scrubbed by a brush when it was cleaned leaving circular hairlines evident in the obverse. Nice coin with an always attractive CC mintmark. Ok. I thought so too, as I have bought some coins from this guy before and all been real, but none of this value. So wanted some other opinions.

How bad does that cleaning effect the value of a coin like this? I'm a little out of my realm here. Just want to make sure I get a good price

I'm thinking xf harshly cleaned. I would be a little more careful b/c of the CC mint.
