I have a 1909 that looks a lot like that color. It lies in an NGC coffin with the words "Uncirculated-Details...Altered Color" Sure kills any grade value. Purdy coins don't count!

I'm with the AU also - but maybe AT to cover up the wear and nicks.

I like it too, cool coin....
but...
I don't see any luster (no cartwheel spokes), color is not normal for market acceptability. Nonetheless, I think it's got a neat look to it. If there is no or broken luster though, it could also be an AU coin.

AU, details, altered surfaces.
Nicks are NOT determining factors in circulated grades unless they are significant enough to cause details.
