Hi, I am new to this forum and coin collecting. I was going through my change when I found a really shiny nice looking 1986 d Lincoln Memorial penny. I took some zoomed in photos and there are a lot things that look odd to me. You can clearly see a line under G-O in God with the naked eye. I can't find any info on this type of error (if it even is an error) so thought I would ask you guys! The word Lincoln also looks strange. The letters get thicker towards the end. On the back side the O in One Cent also looks odd, doesn't look like it closes completely like a circle or oval would. There is also some fading letters at the end the word States and a little blob of what looks like ink under that. Not sure about the blob as I have not cleaned the penny and didn't notice it until I looked back through the pics. Don't know how (or if I should) clean it but the line on front is definitely not dirt! If I need to I can take the penny back out and take better pics! The whole cropping down to size has kind of messed everything up!

That's a plating bubble under the word GOD. They are common on the zinc cents especially ones from the 80s and 90s.

to the funhouse! As stated a plating bubble AKA zinc zit. Some corrosive is between the layers of zinc and copper and corroding away releasing gas and dust. The reverse is a VLDS, late die state worn die. Grease and diamond paste from polishing has filled some devices(TES OF), the O is suffering die attrition, the stretching of metal flow and machine damage (MD) caused by the bouncing upon strike.
