So I have been getting a lot listed on COC and JC said my pictures need help. He says all my photos are out of focus but don't see it. But he is the man and knows his stuff, so I want to be able to get the rest of my stuff listed and more to come. I like finding new stuff so with that said. I need help so let me know what you think of my pictures and what I can do to better my images.

So my set up right now is a cheap usb microscope for taking most of my close ups and a macro app for my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for full coin and kinda close ups. My light source is a florescent daylight bulb from different angles that I think shows my stuff better mostly from the left though so help thank you

Your post is one long sentence. Please try some punctuation or line breaks so its easier to read.

EDIT - that is better, anything is better than nothing

I am no pro but, your pics do look out of focus, scope and phone. The scope pics look like the white balance is out of adjustment also. Instead of fluorescence light, use a hand held LED flashlight. Block off all but the LED at 12k on your scope and you may need to put a filter on that one.

I turn all the lights off on my scope

And also I view all of the pics on my phone would that make a difference how good I can see them if they are out of focus or not?

The issue is not really one of "focus". It's more that neither the USB scope nor the smart phone have particularly sharp optics, so don't produce sharp photos. The standard for COC and other sites for publishing is a bit higher than can be achieved with this equipment. Most of the photos published on those sites were taken with lab microscopes using a camera on the eyepiece. This method is sharper than either USB or smartphone optics, so appears more "focused".

Well I don't have a million dollars to spend on equipment so I'm guessing my listings will stop which I hate but I guess I won't be able to get the quality wanted with what I can afford

Don't give up so easily. Practice. I have two scopes and a point and shoot camera and I can get "good enough" pics.

Have your images from this equipment been published before on COC or other sites?

Sorry to be so negative about this...

Looking at your "app" photos, they are much better than the USB camera ones, so there may be some hope. How are you taking those?

Mrzllewellyn,
Have you tried one of those clip on magnifiers for your phone?

No but I was looking at them online lastnight and was looking at different apps and my camera features and all I really do want clear and in focus pictures but don't have the cash to be buying a nice set up and all just got to deal with what I got or something that is a few dollars

@Rpmsrpms yes I have around 8 or so listings on coc but I need to get better pictures for a few and I can't seem to do it and I want to send him pictures on future listings in focus and sharp you know so he doesn't have to email me 6 times to take better pictures it's a waste of his time and I get frustrated because I think the pictures look good but they don't you know? Win win

Mrzllewellyn, you no need million dollars for equipment.
I have spent about $150 for 16MP USB camera and microscope lens for $25 (both new from China) No need another optics for coin pics like this (just resized)

Both noname products.
Search about Eakins 16MP HDMI+USB 1080@60 1/2.33" with 6 buttons on the top and as for lens it was Plan Achromat X4 finite lens. See my theme here.
