First off, welcome.

That's indeed an oddity. It has some earmarks of an ancient, but what I see is what looks like a fleur-de-lis on one side, and what might be a small eagle on the other. Both were depicted on French coinage. The 67 (7/4?) may be part of a date. The crudity of this piece is what's confounding if it isn't an ancient. Perhaps some local colonial issue?

Can you give the coin's approximate diameter?

Hm... it reminds me of this 1 fals piece from the Bahri Dynasty, which is said to be made from 1377 to 1381. Comparing the two pictures, it looks like the outside text that is not visible on your coin is visible on the one in the link (and vise versa), which certainly does not help. With that considered, it may not be an exact match, but I will still recommend the staff to move this thread to the Ancient and Medieval Coins forum. The people who frequent that forum should be able to provide more help.

The coin doesn't appear ancient IMO, my guess would be from one of the Indian States. But I would like to see what others think.
