Thanks for the comments. I have been working on this set for about 20 years. I don't intend to do the first holder or the early gold holder. I am 1 coin away from the early gold commems. I hope to get it done this year. My goal when I started was to do a type set from 1800 up in XF+. I started the gold at the classic head types. I have enjoyed working on this set.

That's an amazing set, especially with all of the classic commemoratives! I really like the look of the holders, it's a rather unique way in an era of 7070 albums. Thank you for sharing!

Here is the completed Gold commem holder for this set. I showed the empty holder above but now it is completed. I also included a reverse of the holder. All the coins in the holder were broken out of slabs. This completes my type set of coins from 1800 up to the end of the holder series. I am proud to have completed it. Thanks for looking.

Holy Smokes! I really do honestly say that is one of the most impressive sets I have ever seen. I am quite partial to the "less than best" coin, the circulated one you have are superb and yes indeed a collection to be proud of. Amazing! Deserves a couple of these!

I thought I would bump this up for any new members to see my type set. There are many nice 7070's being done and all are great. I did a 7070 way back when but didn't think it was complete enough. I was lucky enough to find the Kingswood type set holders put out by Q. David Bowers in the 1980's. They were made by Capital Plastics. Some of these holders still show up on ebay every now and then. There were 15 of these in the type set. I hope some of you don't mind seeing these again. Merry Christmas as well,Gary
