sometime last summer the automated checkout machine at home depot spat this out for me. i don't often get a one hundred-year-old canadian quarter in change. it's pretty worn, but still is a chip of canadian silver, eh?

Quote: it's pretty worn, but still is a chip of canadian silver, eh? Good stuff, eh! All I can add is that it is a George V 1912-1936. Early years are .925, 1920 on are .800 silver. (edit) 1911 to 1912.

I'm surprised the person who handed it to you even knew what it was.
