I feel like an idiot. I can't understand how to open this folder to remove some old Lincolns. Seems like the pages are glued down. Has a plastic obverse and reverse coverings under the coins and under the blue paper label top sheets. over the insertion hole. No separate sleeve I can detect. Not sure how this opens in order to add or remove coins. Google search did not offer an answer. Please help. Trying not to destroy the album.

It is a Whitman Lincoln Head Cent Collection number one 1909-1940 Copyright 1960. Added pictures below. Thank you

Look to the right of each page , that half moon shape. Is there plastic you can feel and pull to the right? If not , use a finger placed either over or under one of the coin holes to slide it out to the right.

As indicated above, there should be plastic slides covering the coins. Those slides are accessed from the thumb holes (semicircular cuts on the edge). It looks like the slides are missing to me, which means you should be able to pop the coins out.

I have an album that works the same way and the plastic slides often get pushed too far in to access without manually placing a finger over the coin hole, or under depending as they vary, and sliding the slide to the right- so in this case they appear to be missing but are probably just all the way in.

By the way, nice vintage album!

Sleeves may just be stuck after years of disuse.

Thank you everyone! Yes the plastic was pushed in beyond the semicircular openings. I was able to use two fingers to move the plastic over each coin.
I don't think these books have been opened in about 30 years. Thanks again for your help.
Rest in Peace

TMB That's an exceptional album! You oughta see the one I use as a secondary to my main album...the ones that get the downgrades when I upgrade. The binding is just barely holding together and the edges of the slide paper is lifting off, a real mess! Looks like a fairly complete set you have, where and how'd you come by it?

Carefully lift the paper near the slotted end. Using a tweezer, reach in and grab the slide and pull out.
