In your opinion, would this coin crossover to PCGS, NGC and ANACS? Edited by USSID18 01/24/2018 7:09 pm

Are you asking if it will crossover at the same grade? If so, you'll need to provide photos of both sides of the coin before anyone will offer an opinion.

You just posted the same photo twice. We need pics of both sides of the coin for an accurate judgement.

I know, sorry. I'm not sure what's happening on this end. Standby....
Okay, I think I got it.

I'd be worried about the reverse pulling it down.

Neither NGC nor PCGS cross ICG. Break and submit is your option.
I'd leave this one the way it is.

Yes, or better. Thanks! PCGS states that you can't specify a higher minimum grade... ...so I'm assuming that a coin has to cross at the same grade or lower. So if it submitted a coin, and specified ANY grade for the cross, it could only come back the same grade or lower, not higher, right? Fwiw, imo it stands a good chance of crossing or grading raw at MS61. There's only $200 price difference between 58 and 62, so it's no skin off of PCGS to have it in their holder. It's not a top pop coin.

The minimum grade is the minimum grade you give them permission to crack the coin out and holder it in their holder. You can pick the same grade or lower or any or even allow details grades. A coin CAN grade higher (upgrade) on the crossover you just can't tell them that they are only allowed to crack it out if it upgrades.

Yes, I should have been more specific. I've gotta digest all your inputs and determine the most feasible avenue of approach.

I'd personally rather see it in a PCGS slab for the cost involved.

Why cross it over? Is it really worth it?
