Coinvirgin Valued Member United States 123 Posts	Posted 01/25/2018 12:46 am Coin Virgin here! Good evening. I just found a 1964 D Penny and was pleased to confirm it's a DDR ! Yippie . Then I find another one but this one I see Doubling at the lips and under the chin/ neck area ? As well as the lettering UNITED STATES OF. Since I only have one book for reference material at this time & it does't mention anything about the obverse side having doubling? I figured I'd come to the well of knowledge , here at the CoinForum. To ask if a plentiful coin / easy coin to find? Can you post pictures of the doubling on these coins? Study the areas where the doubling shows on this site and then look in those areas on your coin. As mentioned already, a lot of Machine doubled coins have fooled many.
