I know might give it a little bath try and get it looking a little better but still a keeper no matter what to me

A quick acetone bath might help. Can't hurt.

That is a seriously roughed up boy. It's a saver all right. Good luck with the corrosion.

The bath may remove some of the lamination peeling off.

That's why I haven't done it yet I don't want to remove any lamination

The green won't come off with take the surface off the coin. Pretty much better to leave it as it is. Not a big premium for these. (50 cents to a dollar)
