Picked these up today, overall a nice little group. The oversized Salt Lake City one sporting that beehive motif stands out from the rest.

It would probably be interesting to research the history behind those. I see a 1924 and 1942.

There is an entire collecting exonumic field dedicated to transportation tokens and SCRIP. One of the few genres where trading is still practiced.

Nice group!

I would like to start collecting those cutout-style transit tokens at some point soon. The designs, while basic, attract me for some unknown reason. I used to have that Dallas one, but I shipped it to Russia.

Apparently, Honolulu had the fastest. I guess there's not much ground to cover.
