Hello I'm sorry to intrude but I'm having a hard time finding information on what I have or don't have more likely. I have a 1966 penny no mint mark in the back side across the top the you in united states has a tail kind of like a letter y with a fat top. Is this normal I'm on a cell phone but I'll try to get a picture
If it is a struck through error, there will likely be no information for this. This happens when the die fills in with grease. This can happen to one device or most of the coin affected. If it looks something like this, then it is not real valuable. There is more interest when 80% of the design is missing:
