This is yet again a "junk" bin find, condition less than terrific but not so terrible that I'd pass on it, either (I often see such very much more worn, sometimes even nearly smooth). It looks to me to be the version with seven flames emanating from the central pearl. This would have to be in a very high grade to have any substantial value, as in 1906 over 1.86 billion were struck, albeit with varying central pearl designs. I'd add that this mint must've possessed absolutely first rate machinery, because if you do the math, and make the unreasonable presumption that striking these was carried out without pause 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, that production figure still works out to about sixty coins per second!

Mine isn't that great either. But soon you might want the entire set - there's ONLY 20 coins to this set!

Wear's comparable, but the surfaces seem far less impaired. I think my example is going to have to get a nice long soak in distilled water.
