It's a vintage trade-token called a barter token

Anything on the other side?

The text is individually punched. This makes me think that although the blank would have been mass produced, the token was probably designed for use in a situation where only one or just a very few of this exact design were needed. An example would be a factory or mine tally token. With all the trade tokens I have the writing/numbering was stamped in as part of the design for bulk production. I could well be wrong though and would be interested to hear a more-informed opinion.

I have looked at the original listing, thanks Petrus.

However, there is no indication of a value which is another reason why I suspect it is more likely to be some kind of ID tally, rather than for trade.
