25c, obv vf35 rev xf45, net xf40. looks cleaned and retoned. nice reverse detail.
1c, obv xf40 rev vf30-35, net vf35. looks original with nice surfaces.

I believe the large cent to be original. I agree with the quarter most likely being cleaned long ago and retoning nicely....the question is will it be market acceptable

Quarter - XF-40, old cleaning. May be market acceptable. Pics make it hard to tell.
Large Cent - VF-35. Original surfaces.

i don't think it should be market acceptable but I have seen worse in a straight holder

Xf40 cleaned but retoned nice Vf35-40 looks nice and original for sure

One way to find out...BTW, your quarter is a 1834 25C RPL FS-901 B-1 variety. The pick-up points are the missing period after 25C and the O/F in OF.
