I found this roll hunting 1968 d Lincoln Penny with some sort if die problem but it looks like its on a dime frame! Plus it weighs less any idea the value?

to the CCF! It appears to be a normal 1968 cent. Weigh the coin, it should weigh 3.1 grams. It would be helpful if you posted pics of the reverse.

@Jjz1234, yes sorry but only worth face value. It is a nice example of a coin damaged after it left the mint, so certainly save it if you want. Also, welcome to CCF by the way.

All the Memorial cents were wide 'AM' until 1993. That year all the cents were all close 'AM' (even proof cents). 1994 started with the business strike cents with the Close 'AM' and the proof cents back to the Wide 'AM'. 1998-2000 Had a few that were Wide 'AM' when they should have been close 'AM' on the business strike cents, and 1998-1999 Proof cents with the close 'AM' when they should have been wide 'AM'.
