I'm not so sure that this one is PMD, although you are correct that this is always my first explanation for when we see something. I don't see a flat spot on the rev opposite to this mark nor do I see any smushed up material. Rather the margin along the top of this area seems to be squared off. Maybe a detached lam?

Tried soaking in acetone? Close pix like that, told ya before my eye/brain inverts it, so to me it looks like surface glue again. If it isn't an "outtie" and is an "innie" then it was struck through some crap which has since fallen off. Best I can give ya.

Seems the lines have a straight like appearance of a lamination that peeled away after strike. Thanks, Doug.
