Help For A Computer Novice - Coin Community Forum

The reason I have never posted any photos on this site is that I do not know how. I have an older version of 'Dino-lite' which I primarily use for attribution. The 'Dino-lite' also takes great photos. I have many such photos on my 'Desktop.' I figured out how to move photos from my 'Dino-lite' to my 'Desktop,' But I have not been successful with posting any such photos on this site. The photos are in something called jpeg and have been cropped and are approximately 30 KB each. How do I move the photos from my 'Desktop' and load them onto this site? My cut-and-paste, copy-and-paste, and drag attempts have all resulted in 30-40 lines of garbled gibberish. I have used the provided instructions and after 'cropping,' the photos have been downloaded into the green box. Five hours later the box still indicates "loading.' The instruction site provides no further instructions. Can anyone provide help to a computer novice... Thanks. doug * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 02/07/2018 1:57 pm Under the dialog box are options, for the optimizer, to upload "My previous images" and one that says "upload image". Click on that and in the popup click "browse". That will pull up your computer and anywhere in ther for your pix files. Since yours are "Destop" scroll down to the pic, click the pic, and post the reply. It should say like this in brackets img]uploaded/crazyb0/20180207_Lesser_Coat_of_Arms_of_Russian_Empire_2.jpg[/img] After this is uploaded to your dialog box you can use the "Preview" feature to make sure the right pix arwe there and oriented correctly.
