Hi All, I am new to this forum, so having trouble posting pics, but I have a 2015P nickel with the exact same 3rd eye error. Is it possible that this in Not just PMD? *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

If you look closely it is a reversed image, this chows another coin's image was forced into it, whether intentional or by accident in circulation

@CL, first welcome to CCF. Second, you managed to get really nice pics--that helps so much with evaluating what you have. I agree with @tunioc and @crazyb0 that your coin has been damaged through circulation and this damage sorta looks like a third eye. It might be from direct contact with another coin thus leaving an eye-shaped impression, or it could be a coincidence. Either way, your coin is only worth face value.

After comparing with an undamaged coin, I see now not a "doubled eye"  got a little excited when I saw the first thread, thanks for taking the time to look and for the feedback!
