If you happen to find a 1992 Close AM penny would you clean the coin or would you keep it dirty I need professional opinions please only Thank you I will post a new topic with pictures later after I know whether I should clean it or keep it dirty because I've heard if you keep it dirty it's actually worth more but I have no idea

You have to load a clear picture for any opinions to be given. If your coin can be identified positively as the Close AM variety you have several options to restore be cleaned etc. see if you can get good pictures of the designers initials and America and more help can be given.

First, welcome to CCF! Second, never clean a coin as it damages the coin by removing the thin layer of patina on the coin. The value gets cut down to half if cleaned. Also please keep this to one topic and post the pictures here, not on a new topic since it would be breaking the rules (If you didn't read the rules before agreeing to sign up, I suggest you do so). I am not trying to come across as a jerk, just want to be aware of things.
Errers and Varietys.
