Found this 1982 large date cent. Would this be considered a Retained Cud? uploaded/Jim0815/20180209_IMG_3769.jpg[/img Edited by Jim0815 02/09/2018 1:31 pm

First pic. not a Retained Cud,it looks more of a plating issue. Follow up pics, what is your question? back of the head shows a Lamination issue.last pic. can't tell what it is,it looks like a scratch. Please do not post multiple coins with multiple issues/questions in one thread. You would be able to receive a better results and answers to your questions by posting each coin in its own thread.

Agree, plating issue. The Wheat cent is covered in a nearby post.

I have no idea why the lamination pics are on this post! I guess being old and not tech savvy may be the culprit

Have you tried a tooth pick on that area to see if it is moveable?

I was thinking clear grease. This is sometimes found as altering the ring of the rim area.

@coop, since it is immovable, what could it be then?

Some times some adhesives are at fault or nail polish can be added on a coin. But such things added to coins are not a mint error. If something was added to a coin, then the weight would be slightly more than normal.
