Firstly if the different pics are on the same listing then you can hardly point a finger. I would not agree that there is anything sinister in this. If there was only one pic then maybe just maybe there could be a possibility of skullduggery.
Secondly taking photos of coins is not as easy as a lot of people think. No matter how good your setup is sooner or later something will go wrong which may not be noticed until transferred to a computer and if you don't have a reasonable editing program won't be noticed until it's actually up for sale. If dealing with a lot of pics it is a nightmare to go back and take a better pic.
Thirdly I think any grader worth his pay would see the coin from all angles.
Fourthly I think anybody buying coins purely on the look of a pic is asking for trouble if they don't understand that most coins aren't perfect.
Fifthly I do agree that when listing an item for sale it is human nature to get the best one, so it is a case of buyer beware.
In summation I think that most sellers do the right thing as best they can without deliberately trying to deceive.
