cmiller New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 02/10/2018 07:42 am This is 2006 D penny with VDB lettering at the bottom of the coin, Do you know if this important?, you can see there's a an error on the coin, searching but I cant find this VDB infront on any coin, the letter under the shoulder, Have you seen this coin or this is a new discovery. * Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

Spence Moderator United States 34408 Posts	Posted 02/10/2018 07:58 am @cmiller, first welcome to CCF. Second, for this cent, the VDB initials are supposed to be on Lincoln's shoulder. Based on your pics, I think that they are where they are supposed to be or am I missing something? Third, the crescent shaped staining/toning is not a mint error, but rather a surface condition that occurred after this coin left the mint.
