2006-D-Penny-With-VDB-Lettering
This is 2006 D penny with VDB lettering at the bottom of the coin, Do you know if this important?, you can see there's a an error on the coin, searching but I cant find this VDB infront on any coin, the letter under the shoulder, Have you seen this coin or this is a new discovery.

@cmiller, first welcome to CCF. Second, for this cent, the VDB initials are supposed to be on Lincoln's shoulder. Based on your pics, I think that they are where they are supposed to be or am I missing something? Third, the crescent shaped staining/toning is not a mint error, but rather a surface condition that occurred after this coin left the mint.

The discoloration makes the coin look different.
