You can even see the shadow of PIDT on the reverse very well. All late die state effects, they sure did know how to get the full use out of things back then! So much for 50 years of "progress"...

Progressive Indirect Design Transfer (PIDT)...new term for me, thanks Crazyb0.
I am curious is the the "corona" on the reverse on either side of "ONE"? or something else?
I was wondering on the 1957-D I posted earlier why there was a corona/glow on in front of Lincoln's face like a die clash but I couldn't se any clash marks.
Got a reference, diagram or link about PIDT?

But they are common for the era. Nothing to warrant a premium other than the fact it is a Wheat cent.
