I couldent find any other coins like the one I have through tons of searching then finally I just searched the coin and just viewed only all images and surprisingly there where several more close to or identical to my coin and that was what was said about these other coins like mine that it's DDD is that possible to mint let's say 20 of the identical DDD coins I'm not shure how that works but I got an email back from Herritage coins last night and they confirm that it's a DDO so I'm starting to question some things this coin is still not that old yet so I may put it on ebay to see what kind of offers I get as a DDO ungraded state if it turns out well I'm going to send it to ANECS after I receive a return email from John Wexler and his opinion hey may be I'm nuts but I believe in this coin for some reason it's got a hold of me it won't let me give up lol

I don't know what Heritage was thinking with this one. Obvious DDD, pretty common on newer quarters. Heritage doesn't specialize in die varieties and errors, so they could be wrong. John Wexler is a well-known die variety expert and will probably say it's DDD. I don't want to discourage you since you seem pretty excited about finding something good. But I don't want you to get your hopes up with this coin and ebay and ANACS because I think Heritage made a mistake.

Absolutely understand Gentleman I learned a Lot on these forum on where to go I'm not going to send it for grading till I hear back from john wexler I'm not saying you guys are wrong about the die deteriation don't get me wrong I'm not Getting my hopes up but if you don't give passion into a feeling a good vibe then I feel like I have given up on my self I'm not worried about being wrong because I learn from my mistakes and become more experienced I'm a different type of person then the normal so to speak positivity always helps bring miricals so it be cool to have some others I see on this website are very honest I love that this gives me my determination it's notabout pride it's not about proving another person wrong it's about just believing in something that nobody else does I live my life this way and you would be amazed on how many things aren't actualy what they seem to be but it takes adversaty to make a person more determaned so everything isn't going to be perfect but at the same time it is perfect it has to be perfect timing witch isn't something that comes to you everyday so when it does you know without a shadow of a doubt it was meant to be in the movie first blood John Rambo was in the woods by himself just one man against a hundred sheriffs he knew that the odds where in his favor he made them come to him he had all hundred or so sherrifs scared to go in the woods to find him but they where scared to death crazy as it sounds the odds where in John Rambos favor this is the calculated risk theory hey every once in awhile the dog gets a bone the classic example of a Cinderella story the more adversity fuels the fire of passion that makes the difference between the cowardly lion and brave heart you only get one shot make it count with out thinking calling the shot before it's been made are called style points if you pay attention to detail you are a person that does everything with style now this dosent really have anything to do with coins but if you think about it it does it pertains to everything we do in life now my question is to the people that a willing to stand out and be different and believe that this coin is an official DDO I'd love to hear from you we will shine together if it is or we will take one for the team if it ain't caculatee risk please don't be discouraged to give it the DDO or the DDD I'd love to get tons more opinions on this please I think I will do a poll with this one let's have some fun with this guys instead of the same ole same ground hogs day today I am going to (Cause Waves) when they ask me why I will say (Cause Waves) when they ask what's the cause for I will say (Cause Waves) if they ask me who am I doing it for I will always say to them (Jonny man) yeah that's right (let's do it for Johnny man let's do it for Johnny) who's Johnny she said and smiled in a special way always stay gold it takes one man and one single move to change the world (Cause Waves) free slaves set yourself free from mental slavery speaking words of wisdom let it be Let It Be Yous are gonna love me or hate me but I still be here I still be me I still be I still be much love to everyone love life love yourself love your people love your coin now that's passion I'll be back cause I be while back I am a one of a kind person so I look at my coin from another point of view other then a coin colectors mind give it try maybe just maybe you may be able to see a one of a kind you can't change people but you can change there Minds (John Lennon) A change of mind is a change of heart (Robert Theobald) People of today's state of mind is in a state of corrections set yourself free I believe I be loved I know one thing for shure I don't know anything at all throw down your gold coins and watch how they roll life is on reel shine on my coin lovers your all good with change and you all buff out real nice the only fhing in this world is constant is change you'll never know change till it comes and that's when you break the loop out looking for the loop hole everyone's looking for the loop hole when it's been right in front of your face the whole time why are you looking for change that's special when you can make the change you already have special every coin is special it's up to you to make it shine every collectible coin of extreme value was just a regular coin face value a face always needs personality are you looking at face value or personality because the face is what it is until it's apreaciated for more then just it's face make it shine give your coins there personality your coins the ones you don't have to buy or search for till the end of time this is my philosophy

Looking at the CPG (Cherry-Picker-Guide) book on the quarters the last DDOs on the outside devices is the 1990-S & 1995-S Proof quarters. Business strike quarters the last one on the outside devices is on the 1976-D. On the States Quarters, the DDR designs are found on the center of the devices and not on the outer edge devices. (None in CPG book) of the obverse designs on the States show DDOs except for the Earlobe areas. (again non in CPG book) Why. The change of making the dies went from the single squeeze die from the old way of the three (or more) stage ways of the dies. the outer devices were affected on the doubled die then. Now the doubled die are more centrally located. I've mentioned this before on how the single squeeze dies show the die wear not on the devices, but on the fields next to the devices. Here are a few examples in my educational files: Note on the first one how the Machine Doubling alters the devices and the Die Deterioration Doubling is on the fields: Note of these how the Die Deterioration is on the fields and not on the devices: The outer devices show the die wear on the outside direction to the rim, on the fields, not on the devices. Hope this helps.

That quarter is has Mechanical Doubling. Die wear doubling ( also known as abraded doubling ), has a grainy texture, and the doubled elements are always "smeared". Mechanical doubles do have some value, depending on the strength of the doubling. Normally I sell the ones I find for $1 to $5 each ... that quarter may be worth a bit more.

Thank you fine gentleman for thinking a little outside the box here so say how many of there quarters actualy exist with what ever kind of doubling it may be it's got to increase the the collectors minds to open up to a new way of thinking instead of the set in stone by the book way my Quarter ugh only be worth a quarter but only if it gets put back in my pocket and spent there is no new discovery grading companies that will grade off there scale niether and it cost an arm and a leg to get back your coin graded as by the book rules there are no studies on the numbers of these does that are actualy minted especially if it's still a new idea hear let's say there are only ten of these quarters that exist with this error it just becomes ens me that there isn't any experimentation and more study on new discovery I for a fact reasearched online and on this forum and there is maybe three other coins that are identical to the one I have now this shouldn't raise a question at all that hey this is something different here open the playing field for error coins instead of the standard varieitys I did get an email back from john wexler and he told me he believes it is die deteriation This isn't my debate here gentleman how many coins get through with die deteriation before the mint fixes it and it can't be many right guys so they actualy let them go in to circulation I mean shouldn't they be removed before circulation and another interesting fact just this week a man sent out the same coin I have and another ATB Quarter to be be graded and just because he had the balls to send these two brand new dated coins out in mint state because of course there still hot from the mint he pulled a thousand for the pair of mint state ATB Quarters just because nobody is crazy enuff to send a new coin to be graded because the money it cost well he is a smart man it was the first two for the 2014 ATB Quarters to be graded I believe they ended up with MS 68 but of course there brand new and now noted the very first of the class to be graded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=addm...693XI0wyMjZA heres the video with the two new .ATB coins selling at auction for 1,000 dollars one is a Sanendoha by the way but with no errors mintstate 68 probably pulled right out of a fresh bank roll of coins this is a catch 22 because I'm pretty sure the grading company's will follow the standard varietie rules they keep this is actualy allowing to let the mint make many mistakes and say the coin don't fall in the guidelines .Nows here's my thing I'm not a rich person personally I think coin grading is a monopoly an actual organized crime but it's a voulentary thing so I can't say that but who gives them the powers and the say so of what your coin is and this is after you pay them good money plus insurance your coins the whole thing is a really really strange process you get a golden ticket if they give your coin a good grade now if you try to sell it to someone one line they have every right not to trust you so we pay these grading company's third party none the less your coin value actualy depreciates if you think about it because of the time the money and effort that you put in most the time you end up with a pretty plastic case with your precious coin inside it with the big one seal of approval I'm frustrated because I love to take chances big risk means big pay off always but there's also the opposite I mean is there any way to get extensive research done to make sure that you might have something special with out loosing your life savings doing so I'm not sayin it's about just my coin I'm sure everyone's got coins they believe in I just feel there's a better way to do this like say yeah my coin is a DD but how rare is it how many others are there I love oddities I always love errors in anything and I route for the underdog always because I've been part of real cinderrrella stories and it's so worth it the love for it the believing something even if you don't make out the way you would want the t to be it's that change factor everyone knows It's constant but we avoid it at all cost it's good to be put in an uncomfortable situation because that's when we find a way to pre vail . Sorry I get deep gentleman how does a poor guy get his coins graded so he don't get ripped off at the coin shop not knowing what he may hold in I his hand and gets ripped off I'm gonna gonna figure out something on this coin there's just something about it something that pictures can't show yous have to see it thanks for listening to my rambling again sorry
